The challenge

Show how sending, requesting and splitting money could work inside a chat, in English and Kiswahili, without moving real money.

What I did

  • Send, request and split inside a chat, with payment cards in the thread
  • Pay bills, buy airtime, scan to pay and cash out at a wakala
  • Type to the Pesa assistant: tuma 5000 kwa Amina
  • In-app demo backend with a double-entry ledger, fees, limits and PIN checks
