The challenge
Trainees of a youth enterprise programme needed honest records without learning accounting software, in Kiswahili, offline, on a basic phone.
What I did
- Record sales, purchases and expenses by text or receipt photo
- Automatic stock updates and daily, weekly and monthly profit
- Credit score and loan report, shared only with the owner's PIN
- Android app, user web app and back-office console for programme staff
